From a boiler service to a commercial plant room, Forte covers it — diagnosed properly, priced clearly, and carried out by our own Gas Safe registered engineers. All gas and unvented work is done by NVQ Level 3 qualified engineers.
Boiler Installation
As a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer, Forte takes a boiler installation from full sizing and old-unit removal through to clean connection, commissioning and safety testing — then registers your extended manufacturer guarantee of up to 12 years, cover only accredited installers can offer. Whether it's a straight swap or a complete system upgrade, it's done by our own Gas Safe engineers and handed over working, tested and warranted.
Boiler Servicing & Repairs
An annual Boiler Service (£75 + VAT) is a full inspection of the burner, heat exchanger and controls — the cheapest way to head off a mid-winter breakdown. When something does go wrong, George and the team diagnose and repair pressure loss, thermostat faults, leaks and component failures, getting heating and hot water back on quickly rather than just resetting and hoping. Unvented Cylinders & Water Heaters
Unvented cylinder installation gives you strong mains-pressure hot water throughout the home, complete with pressure relief and the safety devices the regulations require — work that legally needs the Unvented qualification every Forte engineer holds. We also service unvented systems annually (PRV, expansion vessel and thermostats) and size, connect and test water heaters into your water, gas and electrical supplies.
Air Source Heat Pumps
Joe leads Forte's heat pump work with six years of hands-on experience. It starts with an honest suitability assessment of your property, then system selection and professional installation — followed by routine servicing, maintenance and performance optimisation to keep the system running efficiently. For homes and commercial sites looking to move away from gas, it's low-carbon heating done properly rather than sold in a hurry.
Underfloor Heating & Radiators
Underfloor heating — water-based or electric cable systems — designed and installed, and always tested before the flooring goes down. Alongside it we handle radiator replacements and upgrades for even heat across the house, and Powerflushing (£450 + VAT for up to 8 radiators) to clear the sludge and rust that cause cold spots and wasted gas. Commercial radiator and underfloor systems are covered to the same standard.
Fixtures & Bathrooms
Fixture installation covers sinks, taps, toilets, showers and bathtubs, all fitted with sealed connections and leak-tested before we leave. When something's already gone wrong — leaks, drips, blockages or a malfunctioning fixture — we trace and fix it. From a single tap to a full bathroom of first-fix pipework, it's the same attention to detail reviewers keep mentioning.
Water Quality & Smart Controls
Water filtration systems — under-sink, whole-house or specialist — installed and serviced, with filter and media replacement and water-quality testing to keep them working. Smart control installation adds remote monitoring of water usage, leak detection and temperature straight to your smartphone, so a slow leak is caught before it becomes a flood. A full Plumbing Condition Report is available too — an assessment of your fixtures, pipes and components with clear upgrade recommendations.
Commercial & School Contracts
The commercial side runs from boiler installations, upgrades and breakdowns to gas testing and purging, leak detection with automatic shut-off, TMV testing, radiant tube and fan-convector heaters, commercial powerflushing and unvented systems. For schools we run boiler and maintenance contracts with 24/7 Enhanced-DBS cover, priority 2–4 hour breakdowns, QR-coded asset lists, science-lab gas proving systems and TMV compliance testing. Annual commercial gas safety certification is included.
Emergency Plumbing & Heating — 24/7
Forte is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, for genuine emergencies — no heating or hot water, boiler leaks, unusual noises, carbon monoxide concerns and radiator faults. It's a real emergency line, not an answering machine, attended by our own engineers. Contract schools hold a priority 2–4 hour response. One reviewer's plumber arrived within the hour, cheerful and efficient, even at 11pm.
